Coverage & Verification
- Main route completed — original Nova account, August 27 record and coloured chapter card
- September 9 replay adds the missing immediate results for the listed ordinary choices
- Both car follow-ups and manual hand escape are verified; hiding success remains unverified
- No paid prompt appeared on the recorded route; no permanent romance lock was observed

Quick Route
- 1
Dress to impressReproduce the recorded morning departure; this is an appearance choice.
- 2
Really good in whatever clothes you're in. I kinda like it. → Joke about Cain's dingdongKeep the original car conversation. The compliment is a dialogue preference, with no measured affection reward.
- 3
YesAt Just answer it., hear Abel's dentist story and trust conversation.
- 4
Ask about Maya → Let José speakKeep the original consultation topic and José's full complaint. The later replay instead tries the how-he-is-doing topic and Defend Cain.
- 5
AVOID HIS HAND! → hold the lower-left cornerWith Fast Mode off, holding the left mouse button near the lower-left game corner produces (Yes, I escaped!). Failure also allows normal continuation.
- 6
Defend Florian → HIDE FROM EMILY! → continue into classA hiding failure was tested and still continues to (I enter class.). Cain catching the protagonist in the later trustfall is an automatic story event.
- 7
Let her be. → Helping meFor the goal of avoiding a physical retaliation in this scene, keep asking Emily to leave, then thank Maya. Emily continues threatening you until Maya intervenes.
- 8
Continue through Maya's soup scene to the chapter menuThe coloured Chapter 7 card confirms the recorded completion.

Critical Choices
The trustfall is an automatic story event
The recorded dialogue has Emily drop the protagonist and Cain catch her. No timing input or fail state is preserved for that catch. Do not restart the chapter trying to choose a different catcher.
Let her be. avoids retaliation, but does not immediately stop Emily
This recommendation is specifically for a non-physical response in the recorded confrontation. Emily keeps threatening the protagonist until Maya arrives. Punch her. has a direct replay response; no permanent lock or new bad ending is established from that click.
The car follow-up belongs to a separate branch
Be mature (boring) opens Like you don't want to know. Both I don't want to (more boring) and Maybe I do now have September 9 screen results. They remain alternatives to the original joke route, not additional steps to append to it.
Blocking interactions
Minigame Help
Avoid his hand — manual escape and failure
Keep the protagonist's white hand away from José's hand until the timed activity ends.
Controls
As AVOID HIS HAND! appears, press and hold the left mouse button near the lower-left corner of the game area. The tested position was x=100, y=685 in a 1280×720 game frame.
Exact sequence
- 01Turn Fast Mode off before finishing the complaint dialogue. Both Defend Cain and Let José speak reach the handshake.
- 02Continue past (He offers me a handshake.) and (I need to escape this.).
- 03At the AVOID HIS HAND! title, move to the lower-left corner and hold the left mouse button. The white hand moves toward that position.
- 04Keep holding until the result appears, then release the mouse and use the normal dialogue continue control.
Success signal
The manual corner hold produced (Yes, I escaped!), followed by (I leave.) after continuing.
If it fails
With no timely input, the game showed (Fuck he was too quick.). Continuing still produced (I leave.), so failure does not block the chapter. Use the chapter menu to replay if you want to try for the escape result; no immediate retry button was shown.
Easy to miss
Do not leave Fast Mode enabled or treat the green arrow as a successful dodge. The recorded action was a held mouse press near the corner, not a timing click on the red hand.
Evidence
September 9 Nova browser replay: one no-input failure and one successful corner hold, each followed normally to the corridor.
Known boundary
Mouse input at the recorded position is verified. Other positions, touch-device gestures, and exact collision timing were not exhaustively tested.

Hide from Emily — failed attempt can continue
Pass the corridor hiding interaction before Cain's trustfall class.
Controls
The frame shows a cupboard on the left, a rear door, a cleaning cart, and a plant. The preserved attempt clicked the left cupboard, but the turn/failure timing was not captured precisely enough to establish a successful input.
Exact sequence
- 01With Fast Mode off, continue past (I just need to time it right so she doesn't see me.).
- 02The game displays HIDE FROM EMILY! and the corridor objects.
- 03In the recorded attempt Emily turned toward the protagonist and said Pathetic. Click the normal dialogue arrow to continue into class.
Success signal
The tested failure path continued to (I enter class.). A successful hiding result has not been verified.
If it fails
The observed failure does not force a restart or a purchase. Continue the dialogue to Cain's class; use a chapter replay for another attempt.
Easy to miss
The cupboard is not labelled a guaranteed wrong answer: the click happened around the discovery transition, so timing and target are not separated by this attempt.
Evidence
September 9 browser screenshots 07-hide-emily-failure and 07-hide-emily-continues.
Known boundary
Failure and normal continuation verified; successful hiding controls remain outside the evidence.
Trustfall classroom scene
Follow Cain's demonstration through the catch and Emily's confrontation.
Controls
Use the normal dialogue continue control and allow the animated scene to finish.
Exact sequence
- 01Continue Cain's Pietà explanation and the student demonstration.
- 02Continue when Emily enters. The drop and Cain's catch occur in the recorded story.
- 03At Emily's threat, return to the normal choice buttons; Let her be. is the original selection.
Success signal
The story returns to Emily's threat choice and then Maya's help.
If it fails
No timing failure is recorded. If an animation has not finished, let it finish before trying to advance; a persistent stall has no separately tested recovery in this record.
Easy to miss
Trustfall is the classroom activity's name. It does not prove that the player must press a button at the moment of the fall.
Evidence
August 27 transcript, classroom trustfall and Emily confrontation; Chapter 7 completed card.
Known boundary
Automatic catch observed; alternative catchers and a manual success condition were not verified.

Relationship context
Common Story, Character Scenes & Chapter 6 Context
- Common story: the Nova record reaches the completed Chapter 7 card after Maya's soup scene. These visits to Cain, Abel, and Florian belong to that one pre-lock playthrough, not three separately completed romance routes.
- Chapter 6's José touch and Emily phone confrontation → Chapter 7's complaint, rumours, and trustfall. The recorded Chapter 6 path chose Embrace it and ended the friendship; the evidence does not show that either choice is required to unlock Chapter 7.
- Car alternative: Be mature (boring) → Like you don't want to know. Both follow-up answers have September 9 screen results. They remain a separate alternative to the original joke route.
- No permanent romance lock or new bad ending was observed on the recorded Chapter 7 path. Immediate compliments and defence choices have no measured affection deltas here.
Story Guide
Chapter 6 aftermath
Emily's Message and the Morning Bet
The chapter opens with the fallout from the public argument. Other students watch and record the protagonist, Florian follows Emily, and Maya stays to offer help. At home, Emily sends a voice message that promises improvement while still asking the protagonist to maintain the friendship at school. The record presents that as Emily's claim, not evidence that the friendship has recovered.
The protagonist tries to avoid university by pretending to be ill. Dad interrupts the plan because Cain and Abel are already outside. Cain has lost a bet and must wear Abel's chosen outfit for the day. The car conversation explains the chapter title; the compliment, film reference, and joke are dialogue choices rather than objective answers.
Abel, Cain, and Florian
Trust and the Substitute Teacher
Abel asks whether the protagonist trusts him and, on Yes, admits that he went to the dentist and was frightened. His offer to listen sits alongside his much more dangerous offer to deal with people for her. The exchange gives context for the trust dispute in Chapter 8, but the evidence does not establish this answer as a prerequisite for reconciliation.
Cain takes over the class while Ethan is away, rearranges the seats, and publicly discusses a complaint about José crossing a classmate's boundaries. Later, José describes himself as the victim of unfair treatment. Separately, Florian's topic choice can focus on Maya or on himself. These scenes show different kinds of support without locking the protagonist to one character.
Classroom and ending
The Trustfall and Maya's Help
Before class, HIDE FROM EMILY! appears in the corridor. The September 9 failed hiding attempt still continued into class; successful hiding remains unverified. Cain turns his discussion of Michelangelo's Pietà into a trustfall exercise and brings Emily into the classroom. Emily lets the protagonist fall, and Cain catches her. The recorded scene proceeds through dialogue and animation; it does not contain a verified timing challenge where the player has to make Cain catch her.
Afterward, Emily continues the threats and repeats a rumour about the protagonist and José. On Let her be., the protagonist asks to be left alone, and Maya intervenes with a counter-rumour. Maya then admits that she made it up to stop Emily. Her soup and invitation to meet on Sports Day close the recorded chapter. Reading this as a less controlling form of help is an editorial interpretation, not a numerical relationship reward.

Evidence & Coverage Notes
- The original August 27 Nova record completes this chapter. The September 9 replay adds the missing ordinary choice results, both car follow-ups, and manual hand avoidance. The September 8 browser log identifies build 2.0.0.52; no new version number was shown during this replay.
- Sources: Chapter 7 full transcript and numbered screenshots 03–11; August 28–29 alternate-choice audit, Chapter 7; September 8 UI log, Chapter 7. The completed card is reproduced below.
- The old guide put Maya's thanks before Emily's threat in its route table. The transcript and screenshots put the threat first. The quick route follows that observed order.
- Screen wording uses filing a complain. and put some bronzer on.; the September 7 flow matrix differs. The newer click result Helping me also takes priority over the data-only casing Helping Me.
- The first September 9 replay returned normally to the chapter menu after a handshake failure. The next replay verified a successful hand escape. An additional HIDE FROM EMILY! interaction also appeared: its failure could continue into class, but a successful hiding result was not captured.
