Critical Choices
The brother question requires 80 Cain affinity
Coolom Games confirms this threshold in the official itch.io comments. Below it, our tested Locked option only shows an ellipsis and returns to the menu. Select Ask about the parents or Look at his abs to continue. Changing Chapter 5’s decision alone did not unlock it in our replay; no successful 80-point unlock has been independently tested here.
You can opt out of the abuse sequence
The left yellow check is (Opt out); the right X keeps the scenes. The September 11 Opt out route continues free but skips the later hand-response and blood-wiping menus. Follow the dialogue you receive rather than looking for those omitted choices; later references to violence remain.

Two hand scenes have different viewpoints
Take it beside Adeline belongs to young Cain. (Take his hand) after the memory belongs to the protagonist and adult Cain; it opens the blood-wiping follow-up. It cannot rescue Cain in the past.

The next chapter permanently chooses a character
Chapter 11 warns that its decision is final and replays will not change it. Read the next guide before choosing Florian, Cain or Abel. This chapter's ordinary replies are not that selection.

Continue through the present-day hand and blood exchange.
Controls

Exact sequence
- 01Select (Take his hand) in the present-day menu.
- 02At the blood-wiping follow-up, select Discreet method.
- 03Continue the dialogue and use Don't unlock (Keep Playing) at the illustration offer.
Success signal
The narration includes Stealth 100.; the free ending returns to the completed Chapter 10 card.
If it fails
If you are at a choice menu, select its text option. Fast Mode advances ordinary dialogue but is not a substitute for choosing an option.
Known boundary
Both blood-wiping options now have direct results. Opt out omits the hand-response and wiping menus; the locked brother question returns to the question menu on this save.

Relationship context
Childhood Viewpoint & Present-Day Choices
- To reproduce the completed record: right X → Take it → I'd say so. → Ask about the parents → (Take his hand) → Discreet method → Don't unlock (Keep Playing). Opt out is separately recorded as continuing the story.
- Young Cain taking Adeline's hand and the protagonist taking adult Cain's hand are different scenes. The latter is a present-day gesture, not a branching rescue from his childhood. The September 11 Opt out route omits the later hand-response and blood-wiping menus.
- Ask about the brother appears in the older audit, while the retained menu shows Locked option. September 13 also found it locked on independent Abel and Florian saves. The Florian save chose Chapter 5 OPTION TWO, yet clicking Locked option still returned to the menu; that history did not unlock it. Coolom Games explicitly states that this option requires 80 affinity with Cain. The threshold is creator-confirmed; reaching it and the resulting brother dialogue have not been independently replayed. Do not infer Isaac’s fate from the locked screen.
- No permanent romance selection is documented here. Chapter 11 contains the final character decision; read that warning before selecting a character.
Story Guide
Childhood
Mateo Becomes Cain
The adoption-centre account introduces six-year-old Mateo. His mother died in childbirth, his father left, and his older brother Isaac could not provide the resources needed to care for him. Adeline and William Montgomery adopt the child and rename him Cain. Their plan does not include Isaac, making the adoption a separation as well as a change of home.
The hand offered beside the car belongs to Adeline. Selecting Take it follows young Cain into this household; it is not the present-day protagonist agreeing to a romance. The story's later use of Mateo is tied to these memories, so treating it as a casual pet name loses the context of Cain's response.
Letters and abuse
Isaac's Letters and Giuseppe's Care
William demands a compliant heir and subjects Cain to violence and discipline. Giuseppe provides care within the household. Isaac's letters offer a possible way out, but the Montgomery parents discover them and discuss replacing the child. The content-warning opt-out allows the player to continue without reproducing the recorded abuse sequence.
The parents' conversation and Adeline's call about Isaac create a threat, but the selected parents-question route does not independently settle everything that happens to him. The unavailable question should not be filled in with a guessed outcome. The guide records what this path reveals and keeps the brother question's limits visible.
Present day
The Bloodied Hand Belongs to Adult Cain
The chapter moves between memory and the present-day conversation around a bloodied Cain. Abel's I'd say so. answers Florian's question about Cain's feelings; it is not the protagonist awarding affection points. Asking about the parents leads Cain to describe the family's urgent wish for an heir and the danger associated with William's work.
After the childhood plea for help, the visible choice returns to adult Cain. Taking his hand surprises him and leaves blood on the protagonist's hand. Discreet method then wipes it onto his back while she apologizes. This awkward present-day exchange cannot change the childhood events that the chapter has already shown.
Closing revelations
The Offer and the Camp Plan
At Cain's lowest point, a figure offers a way to answer his helplessness and anger. The transcript uses several supernatural names, including Suprem, Mort, God and Creador. Those labels do not resolve the figure's identity into one definitive explanation; Cain's account of accepting terms remains the relevant story claim.
Later dialogue connects his work and the earlier rescue to his adult life before the story turns toward camp. Choosing Don't unlock (Keep Playing) at the optional illustration reaches the completed chapter card. The next chapter changes the kind of decision involved: its character selection is explicitly permanent.

Evidence & Coverage Notes
- The brother question remains locked: selecting it produces ... and continuing returns to the same menu. Choose Ask about the parents or Look at his abs to proceed. Coolom Games states that the brother option requires 80 affinity with Cain (official itch.io reply, post 16968927, checked September 13). This confirms the condition, not a successful browser unlock or the contents of the dialogue. Paid illustration contents and numerical effects of individual choices remain unverified.
- The August 27 transcript and screenshots establish the original completed Nova route. September 11 replays verify the free right-X and Opt out endings and direct alternatives. Build 2.0.0.52 comes from the September 8 log; it was not independently reread this time.
- The screenshot places adult Cain at (Take his hand), correcting the old guide's childhood-rescue description. I'd say so. is Abel's reply to Florian; the screen label takes priority over the data alias I'd say yes.
- September 11 adds direct results for Don’t take it, I’d say no., Look at his abs, (Stay silent), You’re not thaaaat special and Straight up. The right-X / Straight up path and the left-check Opt out path both reach the free ending. The short silent and joke replays add direct dialogue evidence; they are not separate full-completion claims.
